The road to being a lawyer is long and arduous. By the time you are able  to practice law, you would already have spent at least seven years studying. In the United States, anyone who want to sit in the bar exams needs to earn a law degree of Juris Doctorate first. And if you want to earn a Juris Doctorate, you need to finish a 4-year bachelor’s degree first and have impressive Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) results.

There are now many schools that offer an online Juris Doctorate degree. Most of these schools are accredited by the American Bar Association. Some schools, however, such as Concord Law School are non-ABA schools that offer an online Juris Doctorate degree. The online Juris Doctorate degree offerd at Concord and other law schools in the country prepare a student to sit for the state bar exams. Students are taught important lessons related to the field of law. Upon completion of this 4-year course, graduates can apply for admission to the State Bar of California.

Aside from the  online Juris Doctorate degree, Concord also offers the Executive Juris Doctor Degree. This is a program that can be accomplished in 3 years. Unlike the Juris Doctorate degree, those who take the Executive Juris Doctorate degree cannot take the California Bar exams. This degree is simply for executives or managers who wish to familiarize themselves with graduate-level law studies without having the need to be lawyers. Any top employee from various fields can take this executive degree.
